We would be happy to discuss your special event, whether it's an anniversary or a birthday, a retirement party or a "Hens" night out. In the past we've catered for almost all events and can pass on the benefit of our experience to make sure you have the night of your life!
The Abbey Taverna is open most days of the week with a licensed bar until the early hours. Reservations can be made between 9.00am and 5.00pm Monday - Saturday, just call our reservation line on 01992 767602. A deposit of £10 per person is required 7 days in advance of the booking date. Cancellations or non-attendance will result in the forfeiture of the booking fee. Your booking fee will be deducted off the total cost of your bill.
The Party Organiser is responsible for making sure that guests arrive on time and are appropriately dressed (smart dress only please: trainers, tracksuits or baseball caps are not allowed). Plate smashing and dancing on tables forms part of the entertainment and any participants do so at their own risk. We are fully air-conditioned and have disabled facilities. We accept all major credit cards.

The Abbey Taverna reserves the right to cancel any booking forthwith and without liability on its part in the event of damage or destruction of the venue by fire or any other cause beyond its control. Under these circumstances the Abbey Taverna will make every effort to relocate the event to another venue or refund the deposit.

The Abbey Taverna does not accept liability for any items left unattended at any time and does not accept liability for any lost or stolen items.

Damage caused to the Abbey Taverna furnishings, fittings, utensils or any part of the premises by guests attending the event will be charged to the final bill and payment by same to be collected by event organiser.

The Abbey Taverna reserves the right to refuse service or in extreme cases to eject guests who, in its sole opinion, are abusive violent or intoxicated to the point where their behaviour disturbs other guests or Abbey Taverna employees.

Customers are not allowed to bring in food or drink to be consumed on the premises. A violation of this clause will result in confiscation of the item and can result in the whole party being asked to leave.
